Marine 1 descended through the cold rain and set down on the South Lawn at 2236 after a brief delay because of the weather.

The president emerged from the helicopter carrying an oversized black golf umbrella and walked to the entrance to the residence without responding to shouted questions from the pool about whether his language may have incited the bombing suspect.

And with that, we have a lid for the night.

Try to stay dry.
