Motorcade departed Trump International Hotel at 8:10 p.m., arriving and parking at the White House at 8:13 p.m.

While there were a couple demonstrators lining the way, a few dozen supporters of the president were gathered to cheer and give a thumbs-up from the sidewalk.

Pool did not see the president enter the residence.

A travel/photo lid was called at 8:17 p.m.Goodnight.
