Air Force One touched down at West Palm Beach at 2:15 pm. Uneventful flight until we pulled to a stop. The president then suddenly appeared in the doorway to the press cabin.
He said he's rooting for both sides in the Army-Navy game, asked by a pooler.
He also said to the press, "Go home. Great job. Nice seeing you. Hope you enjoyed it." He flashed a thumbs up.
Raj Shah was behind him and this was clarified that the president of the United States had personally called a lid for the afternoon, at 2:21 pm.
The rain is gone, though it's cloudy.
The president deplaned a few minutes later and entered his SUV. The motorcade rolled at 2:26, with the pool. So, the lid will take effect once he's returned to Mar-a-Lago.
A few protesters along the route. Signs spotted: "Traitor?" and "Trump: want to MAGA? Resign" One woman held a middle finger up for a long time as the full .motorcade passed.
More onlookers offered friendly waves. Pro Trump signs included "Proud deplorable" and "Trump strong" and "Trump 2020"
Motorcade pulled to a stop at MAL at 2:37.
That's a lid.
